Welcome! I’m FINN.
As a sex and intimacy coach, I help gay and queer men ignite their eroticism and step into their emergent selves.
I am an AASECT Certified Sexuality Counselor. Through my courses, workshops, retreats, and private sessions, men learn tools to confront their limitations, unravel internal narratives of shame, and spark deeper human connections—grounding themselves into a deeper experience of life.
I also create educational erotic content and provide on-site erotic coaching for various organizations, including Himeros TV, an online service that provides explicit educational content for queer men. I co-host the weekly Himeros Backstage podcast which can be heard on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Podcasts.

My Story
Born a minister’s son in the Deep South, I grew up in a rigidly religious environment, struggling against the strong social conditioning and problematic relationship templates that we as gay and queer men have inherited from society.
At age 21, I myself became a trained minister, suppressing my true sexual identity and dividing myself into pieces on the inside. My innate eroticism led me through a labyrinth of self-deceit, a complicated double life, and at last, to a breaking point—a new beginning—that defined my own search for personal truth.
Once I had left the ministry and stepped “out of the closet,” I painfully accepted that my journey toward wholeness and authenticity was far from over. In fact, it had just begun.
Within the very wounds of rejection, fear, and self-loathing, I’ve been uncovering the medicine for my own internal healing. I believe that it is through our own pain that we as queers will transform ourselves, our communities, and our cultures at large. We will not rid ourselves of pain. But we can use our pain to make better sense of ourselves and world.

MY WRITING
Currently, Finn has been selected to participate in the DRAFT program sponsored by Writing by Writers. DRAFT is an intensive program for 15 writers who are committed to completing a novel, memoir, short story, or essay collection over the course of two years. Finn writes creative nonfiction. His memoir will be completed in 2025.
