Outbeat Radio Interview | Upcoming October Workshop

Thank you to Greg Miraglia for this interview about my work and experience of being a target of a hate crime in 1999. I am fortunate to be working with Greg for a workshop at Napa Valley College on October 12.

Greg is the author of Coming Out From Behind The Badge, a collection of short autobiographies of law enforcement personnel who have come out as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender while preparing for or working in law enforcement.  The goal of this book is to inspire those who are still in the closet to step out “from behind the badge” and live their lives fully as their true selves.

Additionally, Greg is the author of American Heroes Coming Out From Behind The Badge, showing examples of how police officers, firefighters, and EMS professionals have been able to come out and be successful on the job.

Greg is also an instructor in LGBT Studies at Napa Valley College and various courses in law enforcement. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Matthew Shepard Foundation and is also a radio program host and producer on Outbeat Radio, a weekly LGBT program on KRCB Radio.
